I have a Ridgid JP0610 Joint and need to replace the knives. I went to Home Depot and they didn't have any and said they didn't think that they carry them. Have any of you found these stocked at Home Depot. Also can I buy another brand that will fit?
Thanks in advance.

They don't list the knives in the spindle service assembly.
Thanks anyway.

Freud also makes blades that fit, just measure your blades, I believe you want the C400 which is 6 1/8" W, 11/16" high, and 1/8" thick same as the Delta X5 but measure your blades to be sure.
BTW if you find someone that sharpens blades the cost should be less than $20 and will be sharper than a new set.

As Wayne previously stated the Freud C400 works great, they are in mine right now. Amazon has them for $19.48, and they have a promo going on where they automatically subtract 10% on all accessories at checkout, so $17.53 and free shipping if you throw in something else so your order totals $25. Every once in a while Amazon has a great deal on Freud products, I grabbed a couple extra sets a few months back, if I remember correctly it seems that I got them for about $10 a set.

Ever think about changing out the cutter head to a segmented spiral cutter. Then when you get a nick in one of hte carbide cutters you just rotate it to a new cutting face (they have four faces each), no alignment required. Sounds expensive but by the time you bought four sets of blades at roughly $50/set you are better than half way to buybg the spiral cutter which has four sets of cuttiing edges included.
They are available for most of today's jointers.
Here is a link to one version, there are a coupe other designs such as the one I mentioned above.
