No-clog sandpapers

Hi guys, been a while, but I've been busy doing some actual woodworking and learning - still a newbie, though. Done a lot of sanding while I've been away, and it seems to me that the 3M Sandblaster (I think it is "Sandblaster") lasts much, much longer than the Norton 3X when sanding finishes. Does anyone else have the same experience?

Now, I'm not bashing the Norton in any way. It is easily the equal of the 3M stuff on bare wood and metal, maybe even slightly better. But when sanding between finish coats, especially of latex paint and acrylic clear coat, it clogs up almost immediately but the 3M does not.

Or am I doing something wrong?

I am redoing the kitchen and had to replace some plaster wall with drywall. Needless to say required some MUD to get them mated up. Needed some sandpaper for the orbital and this is the first time I have seen the sandblaster you speak of. Gave them a try. I am pleased. They have the bigger holes so logic would dictate they would last longer.
