anybody have any recommendations for stainable, exterior wood filler?
i have clear beveled cedar siding, and was hoping to match something up that will accept the stain nicely.
thanks

Because the cedar and the filler are two different types of materials getting a stain to match will be next to impossible. Although not perfect, the closest matches I've gotten is to make my own paste.
In your case, take some cedar sawdust and mix it with an exterior glue, like Titebond III, until you get a paste like consistency.
