Can someone tell me how to register a wet/dry vac for the lifetime warranty? Or a link to the page with the procedure?

I went to my eBox and clicked on "add another item", but the only choices are power tools or air tools. The wet/dry vacs are not in either category.

An email to Ridgid got me no respose whatsoever. Not very encouraging.

Thanks.

You don't need to register for the LSA it has a lifetime warranty that does not require registration

I don't think the Shop Vacs qualify for the Limited Lifetime Service Agreement... I believe the LLSA is for those tools that are licensed to TTI.

The Shop Vacs are still part of Emerson/Ridgid and carry a Lifetime Warranty on "defects in material and workmanship". Big question is how that plays out with things that simply wear out? Although I suppose it could be argued that nothing on a vac should normally wear-out if it is maintained properly, unless it is defective.

Wayne, that wasn't the question but ok, I'll bite, eh!

So all the literature that says you must register it within 90 days of purchase is bogus? OK. I'll accept that.

But when you take it to the service center, how do they know it's under the lifetime warranty?

Here is what came with mine, no mention of registering. They know its under lifetime warranty because they are an authorised Ridgid service center and all Ridgid vacs are lifetime warranty

Here is a link to another thread where a Ridgid moderator stated that the vacs are not covered by LLSA:
