Suggested blades for the BS 1400

Hello,

I've just purchased the Rigid BS1400 bandsaw and was hoping someone could suggest which type of blade works best. Ex. width, tooth configuation.
I will be using it for general sawing and some resawing.

Any info would be much appreciated.

Hi Doug - If you contact Suffolk Machinery, they can give you expert recommendations of what blades to use for your saw and cutting needs. They currently have a 443 promo, where you get 4 Timberwolf blades for the price of 3.

Ditto on calling suffolk.
Tell them what you want to do, what kind of saw you have, and they will give you(actually sell you) the perfect blade. I've bot a few blades from them and the blades are great.
