Hello everyone,

I have just purchased the Ridgid BS1400 bandsaw.

I want to pick up a couple of extra blades and I was hoping to get some advise on which blades to buy. Example ; width, thickness, skip, hook and TPI.

These will be used for general use and some light resawing.

I live in Canada so if someone knows of a retailer online or a store here that sells these blades that would be great.

Thanks in advance,
Doug

Call suffolk machinery at (800) 234-7297

Tell them what saw you have and what you want to do, they will recommend the best blade for your purpose, I've bought few blades from them and they always were on the mark. They sell the Timberwolf blades, good blades.

Timberwolf is the blade to by. Up here you can get them at Lee Valley (http://www.leevalley.com/wood/page.aspx?c=1&p=30276&cat=1,41036,41037), they go under the name Viking, good info on blade selection as well
