Harbor Freight sells a magnetic work light for 9.95,Sears has a nicer clamp on type with two base styles for 19.00 I think, with a flex tube, I bought both, the sears one first but it didnt connect as well as id like so I grabbed the HF magnetic one it works decent for under 10 bucks, I'll use the Sears one for my new to me jet mini lathe I won on ebay today. But your right a nice light like on the Delta 14" Bandsaw built in sure would be a nice addition, even better if it could also be retrofitted to fit as an option for those that already own the Ridgid Bandsaw.I got tired of not having a light, so I built my own!

Mine works just fine for about 6.00. It gives me the flexibility and doesn't move unless I want to move it. I can still move the guides up or down. I looked at the other lights and wasn't too impressed either. This set up gives me light where I need it, at the blade.
Yes, you would think RIDGID would install a good lamp. I know it would not cost very much. Look at the money they are spending trying to get our saw to work properly.
Being from Tennessee, I had extra orange paint!
