RIDGID Roadshow - Frank's Supply - Albuquerque NMPosted 05-14-2009 at 09:13 PM by Josh
What a show in Albuquerque!! Frank’s Supply teamed up with RIDGID to put together a really cool event. Before the show started I walked around some of the other booths and was quite impressed with the amount of tools laid out for demos.
[Link] [Link] Once the doors opened up the action was non stop. We spent a lot of effort making sure we were moving the huge lines through our booth as quickly as possible. At times the lines were literally 40 people long. [Link] There were quite a few people excited about the SeeSnake micro line as well as the new SeeSnake microDrain. [Link] I got to show off the DVDPak and how well it does in bright sunlight. I knew it was better but in the super bright conditions in New Mexico it really blew away the LCD technology. [Link] The pressing booth also had a lot of folks gathered around learning about our new press rings and the RP210. [Link] The tubing cutter station drew some interest in the PVC cutters. Some interest in our new stainless cutter and CSST cutter as well. [Link] We had a section of the booth set up for Locating as well. We had line trace and sonde locating along with showing off the new integrated line trace capability in our new monitors that lets you trace the whole push cable. [Link] I snuck away for 5 minutes at one point and had some of the BBQ. Incredibly crowded and there were some folks who were pretty optimistic about a recovery coming up. Some also described ways they were expanding their service offerings to get through the recession. Hope to see you all at one of the upcoming events. Well worth the visit. Josh |
