Took the family to the fair on Saturday. I only went on one ride but it was good. It should have been at six flags. Their was a lady with a white shirt that puked before us and it took them 10 minutes to clean the ride off. Once we got going there was a young woman who started gagging and placed her hand over her mouth. Me and the guy next to me saw this and started making puking sounds to "jumpstart" her and she started to "leak" around her mouth but somehow managed swallowed to back down. I'm probably going to hell for that but it funny. I bet for that, I'm the first to puke at Cedar Point.

The boy had a good time. He tells everyone that his best friend is his brother. So my son is black and his "brother" is puerto rican. People went with it. Those two wore us out. It was 930 and they still wanted to play

Learning to oxy acetlyne weld, super hard, just cannot get it. Really a humbling experience. I think it's because I have no sense of rythm. So happy I know plumbing and hvac because I would starve as a welder. Come home late so my post are going to start to seem like hooked on phonics didn't work for me.

Remember my last blog about staying until april 09? I now leave in Sep 08. 8 months early. This definently throws a wrench in my plans. Looking at buying a laptop now instead of a locator. Sleeping on that decision. The navy is never monontonous.

My boss calls me today at 1230 and wants me in the office right away. When I get there, she has a BM that needs to have grainger #'s assigned to them. No problem, when does it have to get done. COB(close of business 4pm). I ask why the rush and she tells me she's been working on this for 2 days and now realizes she doesn't know what she's doing.

I look at this bm and get descriptions like "3/4" flushometer"? I lost esp long ago, what kind do you need? Here's another " 2" pvc elbow". Guess who gave us the BM? The air force! I call them up around 130 and there off work already! I swagged the best I could but wouldn't want to be the one who p&e that project.

And how long did this take me you might ask? 2 hours, I was done by 3. That's what I love about the navy, always changing. My boss is an idiot but I know in 09 that I'll never work for her again.

We got a plumber at navy work who's been in for about 6 years but has never done plumbing. He's always been doing concrete or laying block. Had to teach him today how to put in a compression angle stop. He's never seen one of those before. I think he'll work out, he wants to learn plumbing but no one ever wanted to teach him. He almost $hit himself when he installed a urinal. He's never done that before. On monday, we're learning soldering 101. Fridays, we're off by 1130 so we just cleanup the project.
