Broken cable with a root cutter that you retrieved with an auger, and cut the cable because you couldn't get them apart?????

Possibly a broken cable you retrieved out of a drain, or it is the latest and greatest new cable on the market

Looks like a good contraption to cut the root then grab the ball to pull it out

It's a cable that broke, was caught by a retriever which also broke, and you brought it back with yet another retriever.
