Re: Longest Drain Cleaning
Well good news the surgeon said my mom's surgery was a success. Her heart is beating on its own and she is breathing on her own as well. She is still under anesthesia, they said the will bring out her of it with in the next twelve hours.

I ant pulling anything, it was the longest run ever manhole to manhole. The rod was straining from 525' on, used reverse to let the cable self feed. The rolled it up on forward holding the cable on the edge of the pipe so it can feed itself out. Once the system was drained down, we got our K-1000 out there and ran a 6" cutter through the line. Came back a week later to finish the line off with a jetter.
Later on that month we installed 3 manholes every 200 feet.

Re: Longest Drain Cleaning
~300' out about 7-10 times a year, sometimes up'n'over roof vents. Using machine that is designed for this kind of jobs is a Gorlitz GO 68HD w/ autofeed and 11/16-3/4" no-core cables that makes it easy to get in and out that far. Longest Ive seen this machine done about 440' of 4to6" pass the manhole that was not accessible due it was under the trailler.

It depends on the cable. If it is no inner core cable it will have a hard time. But if it is double owund .66 cable it can do it with ease.

Re: Longest Drain Cleaning
Convalescent hospital. Line was about 580' from c/o to the manhole. Ran the entire length of the hospital. Took 2 guys and 4 reels of 180' of cable. I hated it. They were on a 90 day maintenance agreement. Tried to talk them into installing several c/o's but they refused every time. This went on for years. The only good thing was we charged by the foot after 100'.
