My personal best was 600' from a Menards store (same as a home depot)
on the roof with a thunderstorm approaching.Root blockage at 557'.
Finally found a asphalted over man hole in the road where the sewer tied in and there
was the root intrusion!

265 FT. with an electric Eel and 11/4" cable from an old church basement under a parking lot to the street. The clay pipe was over 100 years old I hit the stoppage on the last cable I had. But I have had customers insist I rune every cable I have in the van and cuss me out that I don't carry more then 210 ft, even if there drain is only 100 ft but after I explained that it would cost more to run that far and I would be 110 ft in the city line they cant believe I would charge them any extra. I have had them go in my van and pull out every cable I had wanting me to run it down there 75 ft line.

That would earn them a pipe wrenching. That's My truck. Thy invited me onto their property, but I did Not invite them into mine. My truck contains things that can kill, maim, and poison people, probably the worst of which is the 36" steel wrench by the back door.
