Can't keep the blade vertical on my TS2424. When adjusted per Manual instr., I can watch the blade move off square when tightening the (left)allen screw. Same scene with 45 deg. lock.
I like the saw a lot, especially the fence and quiet operation, if I can just solve the 90/45 prob.

The allens that stick through the top of the table?

They are stops, not intended to be tightened.

Wow! Now that's too simple! I just tried it and it seems to work. It just seems like it will get out of adjustment rather quickly due to vibration, especially the one that has no tension on it; but if it works, it's ok by me.

Thanks Dave.

I think the last time I touched mine was 2 1/2 years ago. It's an ages old design, works well.

You're welcome.
