Just a follow up from 1300 planer rollers from 10/29 post. Finally got a chance to get back to planing lumber. Went thru the steps suggested by Jschnarre on the cleaning. I had used the alchol as suggested by the manual. I cleaned the rollers with lacquer thinner and wax the base as suggested. I now have a new planer. The lacquer thinner removed a lot more build up on what looked like clean rollers. Thanks JSchnarre for the help and for having a great place to get answers and advice. I was looking at jointers and had almost decided on the Grizzley, but I'll be picking up the Ridgid. I know i will have a company I can rely on if i need support. Thanks again.
