TS2424 rip fence

Question

After installing rip fence I adjusted the fence parallel to the miter slot. Then checked the fence for 90 degree to table top. It is approx 2 degrees past 90. No adjustment for this that I can see. Is this acceptable.

Austin,

You can adjust this by playing with the fence rails. loosen them just enough that you can move either end up and down slightly. If the fence is 2 degrees to the right (top of fence further away from the blade) lift the right side of the rails, if it is to the left lift the left end of the rails. That should allow you to get it perpendicular (sp) to the table
