What I have done with My channel-lock Pliers is to take a side grinder & grind the last 2 teeth in the jaws [@the end]. This allows for the griping of a lock nut, [for rigid pipe, or EMT connectors, etc]. It allows the pliers to be used as a spanner wrench to close these locknuts that would otherwise require a larger set to get a grip on them.
