Has anyone had any experience using the Ridgid RT 3422 tapping tool on an ammonia refrigeration system.

Darrel,
As far as the tool goes, there is nothing in the tool that will react negatively with this medium. However, we do recommend that the carbon graphite seals be changed before going to another application, as they will have been contaminated with the ammonia. I hope this helps out.
