Has anyone had to use a check valve on the suction side of tower. I had to pipe a 3" line from the pump to tower but could not get it lower then the sump. I would like to know if this has worked for anyone and how long befor they hac any problems.

I have never installed a tower that low . always raise it for some reason water doesn`t flow uphill but i could be wrong not
