Router brand

I will be needing (mostly wanting)a good heavy duty router. I have seen and read much about the Triton 3 1/4HP plunge router. Does anyone have it? What are your views?

i might be opening mouth and inserting foot here but i have the Makita RF-1101 kit. lots of power. awesome machine!

however if you are looking for power power power, if it were me, i would buy a milwaukee

From everything I’ve read, the Triton has not lived up to all the initial hype it received. If it were my money that was going to be spent on a high quality, powerful router it would probably be one of these two.

I have the same Makita kit that space does and have been very satisfied with it. Good luck with your search.
