I am looking to buy a new Jointer, 6". I am wondering if anyone has the Ridgid Jp0610 and if so, what are your thoughts on it. I am also considering Jet and Delta. Any help would be appreciated>

i bought the ridgid and couldn't be happier with it. the only problem i had with it was the initial set up of the blades. had to have a friend of mine come give me a hand...a friend more mechanically inclined than i am. the book doesnt (at least it didnt) mention this....i recommended ridgid put this in...is to snug up the screws before the final adjustments are made. i spent two weeks screwing with this, my friend had it done in about 15 minutes and he simply snugged the blades prior to final adjustment of the blades
