Question

I have (a mid-1970's) Montogomery Ward Powr Kraft 17" Drill Press Shaper Router. Was this tool manufactured by Rigid? It has a Rigid Supreme Chuck. It is a floor model (#THS2437A), serial # 273278.

This machine does not run due to a problem with a printed circuit board that controls the motor RPMs??

Any help about the origin / parts availability would be greatly appreciated.

According to the old tool guru around here that drill press was made by a company called Tool Craft. I'm assuming when the chuck says rigid it means stiff. The name RIDGID is spelled with a G. I tried to look up Tool Craft on the internet with little avail.

I hope this helps

Jake
