I heard that Ridgid was dropping (or modifying) the TS2424. Is this true? If so, do you know what will replace it?

The TS2424 table saw is still in production and there are no plans otherwise. The only item in the RIDGID line that is being discontinued is the JP0600 jointer, which will be replace by the JP0610 jointer, beginning in March.

Thanks. My insider informed me tonight that he was mistaken. Evidently, there was some delay in shipping earlier this week. For some reason, the local HD was unable to order any more 2424s, and then rumor mill began.
