When the time comes to update the table saws, PLEASE design the blade lowering controls so that the blade can be lowered well below the top of the table. It is very irritating to have to install a small blade to cut the initial slot in a new zero clearance table insert. Most of us make our own inserts and this becomes a constant irritant in an otherwise very good tool.

I have the model TS2424. What are you using for zero clearance inserts? would be nice if Ridgid sold the blanks as an accessory.
