    1 - You don't know or understand what your operating expenses truely are.

    Here are a couple that came to mind.

    2. Job Costing
    3. How to negotiate a contract
    4. Understand your trade
    5. Cut corners to save a buck
    6. Don't understand Insurance policies and what your covered for
    7. How to collect money, file Mechanics liens and don't grow a pair when it comes time to sue a client, customer.
    8. B.S. your customer.
    9. Allow your employees to run your business.
    10. Don't maintain your equipment and require your employees to keep them maintained.
    11. Maintain your vehicles.

            You dont have :
            50 -k60's
            20-propress tools
            50k in camera equipment
            20 sprinter vans
            have atleast 20 million dollars in operating cost on hand
            Atleast 10 tow behind jetters

                Telling your customer NO when they want you to do something that you know they wont be happy with
                OR Not knowing your own contract and eating something that your customer should have been charged for.
                We don't have preventative maintenance around here, we have CRISIS MANAGEMENT!

                    ....refuse to adapt to change of the social/economic climate around you.
