table saw circuit boards

    Anyone else with this problem.

    TS2400LS

    The contractor version with the built in stand

    Starts, gets up to speed then cuts off. There must be some sort of cut off switch that is misbehaving.

    Would anyone know how to by-pass the circuit board on this model, seems to me that there is a standard motor, the only difference is that the circuit board provides a "slow start" to avoid the initial surge in power draw.

    In order to get this going, shouldn't by-passing it work (of course it would have the initial start up surge as in most older saws.

    Thoughts?
