some users have had issues with editing a post - the entire typed text is erased.

i hate going to a new thread by RidgidRachel or RidgidFacebook and finding it's a link to "read" "read more" or "link". it's as bad as spam. at least copy the text to this site. i refuse to go elsewhere for my Ridgid information.

The social integration is for you guys in order to see what RIDGID is sharing on the other social sites (Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest).
The RIDGID Social Media section will take you to that specific site/post in case you click on that link. We can't import everything we post there in the forum, but I'm sure that if the content found there looks interesting (videos, pictures, etc.), one more click for seeing that post will worth the effort!

I seem to have lost the ability to merge threads.

Can you add a link at the bottom to go to Ridgid.com?
We used to be able to link to our dashboards [stupid name]
directly from the forum site and visa versa!

Okay here is an issue I have been noticing - not sure if it has been happening to anyone else. I'm getting email notifications about replies to a thread I have been involved with several weeks later and they also seem to come in clusters. In the last day I got about 10 - 15 updates on a thread about 2 or 3 weeks old. On the old forum one would get an email almost as soon as a thread was updated.

The new forum update is making it impossible for me to post photos to my threads. can you check or give a tutorial. I normally add photos from my phone to my computer via email. Then i copy them to my computer picture files. Now when i try to add to the post, it's asking for the url or my saved photo albums. I tried adding to my photo album and same issue.

keep it simple so us plumbers don't need to be more geeks than we already are.

              Rick.

Are you using the ''Share Photos'' button (looks like a camera) in the upper left corner of the reply window?

It gives you access to your computer hard drive or to photos you already have uploaded and are in your photo album which in this case means photos you have uploaded in the past and are stored on the forum server.
