I saw in home depot that milwaukee has a 12 volt cordless pipe cutter but I would like to have one that cuts emt conduit.

I've used my ridgid cutters to cut emt conduit many times whether it was metal or that gray pvc piping.

I don't know if that would work or not.

it will cut 1/2'' and 3/4'' emt.

problem is it's not legal to cut electrical with a tubing cutter.

i've seen a tubing cutter that only cuts part way and you snap it off.

i guess they're worried about the burr that can cut wires.

so, yes it will cut, but i can cut faster with a regular tubing cutter

Ok maybe not conduit but how about a battery op. copper tubing cutter.

I don't really want to add another brand and battery charger to my collection.
