I think someone needs to make a level that lights up the vials so you can read it easier.
Craftsman and others make electronic levels that will beep when level or 45. The display lights up too IIRC.

Recalls last 9 measurements, calculates degrees between two angles, projects bright red laser dot accurately to 1/4 in. at 100 feet. Use tripod threads or hang magnetically. Wt. 1.2 lbs
"When we build let us think we build forever. Let it not be for present delight nor for present use alone. Let it be such work that our descendants will thank us for, and let us think, as we lay stone upon stone, that a time is to come when these stones will be held sacred because our hands have touched them, and that men will say, as they look upon the labor and wrought substance of them, "See! This our fathers did for us."
John Ruskin (1819 - 1900)

Put in the dark and works without having to press any buttons or worry about batteries.... Hey Ridgid, you reading this, this could be your break out in the level market!!! All I ask is for the first ones, 2ft, 4ft, and 6ft
