  • 18 Volt wish list

    1st post. Keeping it simple.

    My wish list.

    1. I would like to see an 18 Volt battery gauge that can also be used to clip my spare battery to my tool belt.

    2. Maybe some kind of cordless sander.

    3. Bring back some bare 18V tool options.

    4. A small radio that can run on batteries, but also can be plugged in to recharge batteries.

    5. Someone posted an idea for a cordless grinder. That would be great.

    6. Purchase option directly from Ridgid. So I could still get a LSA on new tools when Home Depot stops selling that item. Instead of buying it off ebay & getting screwed in a few months when the tool stops working.

Just my ideas. Thanks for reading.

I agree and on board 110% with all of the above.

If I remember correctly, B&D/Dewalt currently holds a patent for a radio/charger combo, so that's not likely to happen soon.

This is true but Bosch pays for the use of the patent ($20 each unit I think) for every radio they sell. I think that most of us would be willing to pay an extra 20 for the ability to charge batteries on our radio.
