  • Free Tool with Hammer Drill Purchase

I got an email from HD which no doubt many you did too about the free RIDGID tool if you buy the Hammer Drill for $179. There was a choice of about 6 'free' tools IIRC, all under $139 retail. The 18V router is one of them as are a pair of 4AH batteries or one 5AH battery, the 1/4" hex drive 18V impact, and a couple other choices. Seems like a good deal but not doubt designed to clear out some stock for new models coming down the pike, or off the boat should I say.

I can't find mine. Can you post the email here or PM me and I'll give you my email address to forward it. Home Depot store and Customer Care Centers don't have any info (no surprise there).

Promo runs until 6/31 I believe, so those orange aprons better get with the program.

Before you go bonkers on this deal remember if you pick the batteries they ARE NOT COVERED under the Lifetime warranty. They will only be covered for their original warranty period which is 3 years.

True about the batteries. I bought the drill and picked up the cordless router.
I gave the drill which I did not need to my SIL and kept the router which is
what I wanted. So I spent a little more than if I bought the router alone but
            he gained a nice drill.
