Interesting how they claim the sander runs for over 40 minutes using a 4.0 AH battery but the kit only gives you a pair of 2.0 AH batteries.

"With a new ergonomic Hex Grip handle, this sander feels better than ever in your hand and runs for over 40 minutes on a 4.0 Ah Lithium-Ion Battery."

And something else, notice the slight change in the LSA description. Batteries are NOT mentioned where in the past that was something they were so proud of.

"This kit is backed by the Industry's Only Lifetime Service Agreement, simply register within 90 days of purchase for FREE Parts. FREE Service. For LIFE. "

How are these batteries any better than 'standard' Li-Ion batteries? Nothing in the description leads you to believe they are nothing but their regular 2.0 AH Li-Ion battery.

" * Batteries: Up to 2X more runtime and has 2X longer life compared to standard lithium-ion batteries "

I have the same sander .. I use there 2.0 AH batteries anything larger the sander tends to wonder . I noticed to " Lifetime Batteries " has been omitted , though currently I believe there covered under LSA but maybe down the road they will do away with free lifetime batteries for combo kits .

My guess with 2x longer life is they compare there Hyper batteries to there original ( standard ) 2006 Lith - Ion .

Home Depot is currently offering Kits that offer a free tool / battery and gives a returnable value to the free tool offering which brings down the cost of the kit ... I just purchased there sub compact drill driver / impact driver kit with a free tool ... A 3/8 " sub compact impact wrench , returned the kit and paid $ 80.00 for the impact which to me was worth it.
