  • Found an Old School Milwaukee Magnum Hole Shooter 1/2" VSR Drill

A few decades ago, Milwaukee made legendary tools. Their Magnum Hole Shooter drill is one of those legends.
I bought my model 0234-1 around 88 or 89, still have it and it's still a beast.

These were sold long before TTI bought Milwaukee.

I came across one that it up for sale in the Festool classified section of their forum.

If you were ever wishing you had one, or miss yours and want another, this looks to be a great deal. I know
the seller only in that he used to be a Festool dealer and I bought some tools from him in the past. He retired
a few years ago and I see him selling off various tools now and then. He says the drill is lightly used and from
the photos that appears to be the case.

So if you're interested hop on over and grab it up before it's gone.

Only thing I see missing is the manual and the side handle. He may have it but it's not in any of the photos
so I would say ask about it. Mine came with the side handle. With the torque this thing has you need it.

I have that drill and you're right it is a beast. I bought mine in 1975 and mine is also going strong today, although it sees less and less usage each year. However, $145, is he nuts! I guess if I wanted to over price something for sale the Festool Owners Group would be the place to try and sell it.

Actually he had dropped the price to $115 which is where it sold. Yeah, $145 was on the high end, but look at where he was listing it. Those guys think nothing of spending $600 for a cordless drill. Granted it's a Festool with all the bells and whistles but still. So they would not balk at $145 for even a used Made in USA corded drill motor.
