I’ve had one for years. Use it while vacuuming out flooded basements to get the last that my floor sucker pumps won’t suck and pump out.

Not designed to pump and vacuum at the same time.

I know that I have never seen one of them on the shelves of Home Depot up here in Canada.

Hard to say but it is a useful accessory pump for flooded basements or removing high volume water. It's designed to fit Ridgid, CM and some Shop vacs etc. I may retrofit it to function as a stand-alone pump with some pvc pipes so it can be even more useful. The one I found was probably a special order item thats not normally stocked but remains orderable.

I would save a copy of this screen shot I took this evening. Might come in handy down the road.

Just like the shop vacs, I think they're saying in a round about way that this does not qualify for the LSA. The lifetime warranty in this case is the lifetime of the accessory not the buyers lifetime.

You are right Dave, it is not included in the LSA program from what I just read in the VP2000 manual.

Attached is the full manual and below is a snip of the warranty info from that manual.

"Full Lifetime Warranty" ain't LSA but is reasonable. As expected failures due to misuse/abuse/normal wear+tear won't be covered.
