  • is that enough?

did a roof top main line stoppage today that the customer was price shopping.

i gave her a price over the phone that included the the first hour and also an hourly charge beyond the the first hour prorated in 15 minute increments.

3 hours later she has me come over. she even told me she had a person come over and tell her he would snake it from the shower drain an older 1.5'' drain
another one said he would jet it from the shower

fortunately i came recommended from her son who i've work for for years

4'' roof vent on a 1930's house with a big magnolia tree out front.

took up 90' of cable and the k-60 hit it at 89' and fought it for 20 minutes. finally cleared it with the root saw and continued another 15'. cleaned up and took everything back to the truck including my little giant ladder.

1 hour 20 minutes all put away. billed her and she gave me a glass of water. then she asked if the price i gave her was enough considering all the work i did

being recommended from a family member is much more reliable than the phone book. especially when these clowns want to clear a main line from the 1.5'' shower drain

Wow thats rare! I find being recommended by friends alot of the times they want more for less. I'll take a customer out of the phone book anytime over a friend recomendation.
You can lose with me, but you can't win without me!.... PPI

Word of mouth is better for a consumer than the phonebook. Sounds like you deserve to charge more for your services.

      Phoebe needs some new shoes.
