  • dr. rick to the rescue

so not only did i play plumber today on a kitchen sink stoppage, but i got to play dr. with the owner

before you start to think from the gutter, the owner is a retired dr. in her late 70's early 80's.

i was out in the side yard snaking the 2'' kitchen sink c/o with my k-50 when the owner comes home to check up on me. as she steps out the back door, she trips on the outside door matt with her sandals and fortunately she catches herself on the railing. in the process she twist her ankle

i help her inside the house and sit her down in the kitchen. get a bag of frozen corn out until i can find a zip lock and fill it with ice. got an ace bandage and wrapped up the ankle once i helped her to the sofa.
i was concerned about her and grabbed the cordless phone for her until her son shows up. i figure he's a dr. too wrong, he's an attorney

needless to say, she said i had good bedside manners

I've heard they won't allow Rick to practice medicine anymore.

              Haven't you been listening?

Rick doesn't use a guide hose, he uses a mortar pan.

I believe everything except the "late 70's early 80's" part.

true. i only use a mortar tray when indoors. this was an outside cleanout and the cable was spinning on the grass.

the owner, although elderly is still fully self sufficient and independent. if i felt she needed more than an ice bag, i would have called for help from her kids. grant it her kids are older than i am.
