Brand new to the forum, and want to say thanks for all comments regarding RIDGID 12" sliding miter saw. Bought one along with utility vehicle and could not be happier..............BUT wanted to mention my experience. While installing the laser exactline washer I just happened to look down at the saw blade. Noticed one carbide tip missing and another that was ready to come loose. Dont know where that loose one would have gone if I had started to use the saw. To you old hats it may be common knowledge to check a saw blade before use. It sure will be mine in the future. Just thought this may be of interest and save an eye or worse.
