gear junkie, it's good that your okay.

just goes to show how quickly things can go terribly wrong. and it wasn't even your fault!

hopefully there's no permanent tissue damage.

      take care.

        Ben

You should have just flexed those giant forearms and that sucker would have just popped right out!

WOW!!! That will be a cool story for the rest of your life.

        I'm glad you are OK!

          Re: I've been shot!!!!

I once shot a 1/2" crown 2" staple between my achilles and the bone on my ankle. Was standing on a ladder and had my finger on trigger and turned and hit my ankle. I was in 5th grade when I was helping my dad put sheeting on our new house. We pulled it out, cleaned it up and went back to work...

              Re: I've been shot!!!!

I took a 3 1/2" spike to the hand that flew about 8 feet and hit me. Didn't even know it till I looked down, there it was sticking in my hand. I pulled it out, my hand got as big as a grapefruit. I kept it clean and iced and I was good as new in a week. There is still a small bump where it stuck in the bone though

                i wallpapered your pic.

it reminds me that things can happen just like that,

even if it's not our fault.
