  • From Garager

Stepped into Ridgids forum to apologize for leaving half cocked, felt quite embarrassed for doing this, and not totally thinking things through. I really enjoy coming here and chatting. I didn't run away, so to speak because I can't handle criticisms, I just didn't want to get into a spitting or name calling contest, just don't need it. My god the over whelming support of wanting me to stay was (is) incredible. It took me 40 minutes to read the thread and P.M., I would love to stay. I really didn't expect to see any response, boy was I wrong. I'm 44 yrs. old and had my fair share of fights and name callings in the past, well thats exactly what it is, the past. I'm here to meet new people who have the same interest as I do. This forum is perfect for me, I don't mind debates at all, and I'm never to old for learning, because everybody has a trick or 2. Bob D has his table extension that I went off of and many others here did the same, thats why I'm here, and Bob by the way thanks, you probably didn't know I borrowed your idea, works great by the way.
My wife tells me I'm having an affair being here all the time, she just doesn't understand how much I enjoy these kind of discussions. I always thought I could go to the "plumbing forums", I've got a minimum of 8 yrs in the plumbing and pipe fitting, high pressure and low pressure, use to have my boiler license, but now I build houses. I have a lot of knowledge in me for being in the construction and plumbing trade for almost 27 yrs. I find sharing experiences to be a great thing to do, and to hear your thought and experiences just adds more knowledge into me. I didn't mean to damn the poster in any way, just wasn't thinking clearly. Woussko I find it ver hilarious about using another ISP service to come sneaking back in. Thats just not me, I'm not a devious person. My apologies to plumdog10, I'm just not interested in going GRRRRRRR with you, I'm sure your a nice man, and I'm not out to try to embarrass you I think I did it to myself instead.
Josh and everyone if you'll have me back I'd love to come back and I'll try not to let people get to me so quickly. Beside I got a good story to tell everyone what happened to my new floor. I did not mean to rock the boat, this forum rocks instead, thanks for listening. I'll be back tonight or tomorrow morning.

When needed, just tell the Dog to get back on the porch! If you know anything about plumbing or electrical then answer any question or make any comment you want in those forums as well as woodworking and general topics. The dog sneaks down here sometimes and I still aint so sure he is a plumber anyway.

Seeing as you did nothing wrong in the first place I'm not sure why you were the one to apologize but it speaks volumes about your character. I for one am glad that you reconsidered.

Glad to hear you're going to stick around, Garager! Post some pics of your extension and whatever else you're doing. The car is definately top-notch, btw.
I put it all back together better than before. There\'s lots of leftover parts.

Glad your staying garager. And I am glad to see the support posting on your last thread. The night you posted it I was posting a reply and by the time I replied there were 4 new posts on the thread I just read 10 minutes ago.

                        Garager,
Count me in as another one who is very glad to see you come back to the forum. Overall, this is a great group of people with lots of ideas.
What we NEED however, is a WELDING thread. LOL
