Congrats, Orange, that looks great! I like the pickets you used, they add a very nice touch.
I put it all back together better than before. There\'s lots of leftover parts.

      Thanks.

I was just going to use the 2x2s but when I took my wife shopping she said she liked the colonial better. Then I was hinting around about wanting delivery (she asked why I bought a truck if I dont want to haul all the stuff) but when I said fine about the balusters, she gave in on the delivery

        Ummmm, scroll back a little

Today I put up some plywood on the soffits until I reside the house later. I also painted the foundation and transplanted some Hostas near the base of the deck.

I need to update the pics though. For an early Fathers Day gift I got a CharGriller Pro grill. Ive used it every night so far, and its getting better every time. It is an excellent addition to my deck, its just an awesome grill.

"...but when I told her that if I had planted bushes where we wanted to I wouldve hit the line. That thought didnt phase her much, until I mentioned that the dogs couldve easily dug into the line also. ..."

Nice that the wife is worried about the dogs biting into the live wire, but not about you getting bit by the live wire.
"When we build let us think we build forever. Let it not be for present delight nor for present use alone. Let it be such work that our descendants will thank us for, and let us think, as we lay stone upon stone, that a time is to come when these stones will be held sacred because our hands have touched them, and that men will say, as they look upon the labor and wrought substance of them, "See! This our fathers did for us."
