As "Commander and Chief", and in consideration that the American people expected this "objective" be carried out, wasn't this sort of "dereliction of duty".
Instead of going after Bin Laden, he opted for adventures in Iraq. Which, BTW, really worked out quite well for Bin Laden; not only does he remain free, but G.W. tremendously helped out with recruitment.
As the leader of the free world, at this point I'd be content if he'd just stop pronouncing nuclear as "nuculer". I think we should pass a bill requiring basic grammar for future presidents...maybe it will come hand in hand with the level of problem solving. I agree on the strategy in Iraq...an attempt to right the wrongs of 911 got us sidetracked and created a massive dilemma we can't just slip out of without repercussions.
i am still and total disbelife that he ever got re-elected, though i am not to sure that i wanted kerry in office either. it just seem every time he opens his mouth he says the exact oppissite of what he said yesterday.
