My wife just got her class A permit. At test time she will only have a class B available so it looks like she'll soon have her class B lic. Either way she'll be drivin BIG TRUCK. People get a kick out of it because she's so small.

gene i find that there is more class b jobs out there vs class a so it may be a good thing for her to have the class b, and it is more likly that she would be home every night as with a class a job you "might" be out for 2 or more days at a time

We (meaning mostly she) are writing a business plan to expand into municipal sewer systems. She got into a free course for woman but they will only train (and provide truck) for class B. Thats all she needs to drive a combo jetter/vac truck, but we figured since she was going for testing she minds well get a class A while shes at it. We were hoping for her to have a chance at driving and testing with class A but some plans fell through. so it looks like she'll be getting her class B. No big loss as a class B will suit our needs for now.
Our back up plan if the business fails is we will team drive class A once the kids have reached 18yrs old.
