Repent Your Sins Here - Professional Plumbing Discussion

When I was in the Navy. me and a good friend in my division used to have an inside joke..."I ...er...was the captain of the football team".
The boys would chat about home at meals, or when there was downtime, and it always seemed like we were all hero's at home.
I see some of that "capton" type mentality here, I am at the top of the list no doubt.
I opened this thread and almost fell over laughing, Plumberscrack is obviously a very knowledgeable plumber, he had the guts to completely and honestly break the ice and got a dialogue going that kept me smirking.

Ha! that's funny Ducky. Things were slow on the forum that week so I just tossed that out there. I was surprised by some of the answers too. Shame on all of you!

I finally found the Thread of the Year!

Removing a Water Closet by Yourself

This I thought was a spoof thread but it turned out to be very informative. It went to 96 posts.
I never even knew there was a toilet cart to carry and help set one piece toilets.
Then it morphed into a pretty serious debate over caulking bowls to the floor or not.

That's a pretty good one as far as getting a good picture of everyone's personality and how we network.I like it.

So many good ones...I found another

Mrs. Westcoast started this one. It had absolutely nothing to do with plumbing, woodworking or power tools. Maybe that's why it didn't run very deep. Only a handful of regulars responded. Most people probably thought it was just a fluff piece.

i like this one the best because it shows how a bunch of people that most have never seen can all come to gather to help some one in time of need .even if it was just some words on a forum .
