    Hello

I'm working on a project that has 12" steel pipe (Farm tank foam system - fire protection). I don't deal with anything greater than 6" and this is reflected in the tools we have. I don't foresee too many of these large scale projects in the future either so I's just like to rent the equipment (258xl power cutter / AR99 stands / 918 groover / etc..) Any Canadians here with thoughts on the matter?

    Thx
    Dave

Thanks but I need something that will keep things a little more precise. I imagine a kung-fu expert might be able to get a percentage of cuts straight enough on a 12" piece of pipe to go immediately to a roll groover.... nobody like that on my crew. But I need it done right the first time each time.

        Regards
        Dave

Grooving 12" is not an easy task. What sch. are you using, 10 ga I hope.
Anyway check with your supplier, he may be able to cut and groove for you,
if you give him the dimensions, or a spool drwg.
