It doesn't take more than 20 mins to cook corn on the grill does it?

Slept in. Checked overnight posts here. Talked to my tomatoe plants. Rubbed the belly of my cat. Cranked the A/C down to 66. Waited FOREVER for the FedEx truck to arrive. Walked down to the block party. Had some beers. Staggered back home. And here I am

Went out this morning to get some doughnuts for the family, then watched some TV, then had to take my son to the doctor. Turns out he has a pretty painful boil on the crease of his leg, so we are supposed to try and get as much pus out as we can. We go back in tomorrow for a follow up to see if it needs to be lanced and drained. Good thing he's a tough kid, it looks pretty painful.

Took my son fishing and then went for ice cream. After fishing we went for some ice cream and he was awfully quiet(bad sign) and I turned around and he dumped the worm bucket in his lap and was playing with the worms. Oh well, at least he likes fishing.

Charlie, how long do you grill the corn? The husk stays on during grilling? How do you know when it's done?

It rained here today, so I spent about five hours changing my autocad drawings for the new stock car chassis rules at the 5 local racetracks.

                        Stickered park benches
painted two 5' by 5' boxes
Cut out 2-4' circles out of 3/16" steel and burned the tips of my fingers through my gloves on a flashfire.

Threw my $(!%ing harbor freight torch into my neighbor's yard, will love to hear that in the tall grass when the lawnmower hits it.

Broke a $100 Dewalt jigsaw...didn't even break the blade in the process....???

Went through 16 cans of rustoleum blue paint because I didn't want to pay $120 for overnight shipping because paint is hazardous material.

My hair is a pretty blue right now.

Put the clip in cleats on the new "fairy" looking MTN bike shoes. Why can't they make these thing NOT look like they belong on Peter Pan?

Ate half a watermellon, cleaned out the last of the pasta out of the fridge, finished off the box of edamames I started last night,3/4 of a bag of Mother's Favorite cookies.Animal cookies are my favorite out of the bunch, save them for last.

Re: so what did you do today

Let's see...up at 6:30, on the bike trail with Josh and my dad by 8:00, saw a bald eagle, rode some more, saw a HUGE glacier, rode some more, almost killed myself riding down trails that my dad said were "fairly easy," then saw a momma bear up in a tree snacking, rode some more, spotted a porcupine crossing the road ahead, chased him in the woods and up a tree, stopped by some garage sales, came back home, ate some leftover pizza, changed clothes, went to the fitness club (I warmed up in the hot tub and the guys played some tennis), hung out there some, then off to shop for groceries, and now we're cooking chili and corn for dinner.
Okay, I should have just said to go read Josh's blog. He posted some great pics of our first day here.
It is a bit chilly for me, but I'm loving it nonetheless!

Yikes! It's not MRSA is it? My brother, sister-in-law, and nephew are all carriers, and have had multiple breakouts over the last few years. A few have landed them in the ER where they have to lance and drain them. Not fun. I hope that's not the case with your son.
