  • Good Morning to Everyone

Its a fine morning outside my home today. Birds are chirping and the rabbits and deers are munching up the grass in the field across the street. And I'm in a great mood today, so its a great day to be alive and healthy.

I gotta get ready for the next job, I will start residing a house on Lake Superior Monday (great place to work). Cedar siding running vertical, its been taking a beating from the weather and leaking around the windows and doors. So we'll be stripping alot of the siding off and replacing damaged boards and sealing it up tight.

I would call this house a contemporary style home, just doesn't quite fit for style around here, but its a big home and fancy inside. Its also built as a passive solar home, lots of glass and cement flooring and stone to warm up from the sun. They plan on selling in a year or two, and I'll be replacing the deck and some other stuff next year for them.

Maybe I'll get some pictures and post later on. My painter or I will be staining the place too, depends on if he can get there will be the decision on who does this. The H.O. is going with a blue color, I tried to talk them out of blue, but some people just won't listen.

Wow, I just meant to say hello and its become a blog.....

Have a great day, you all and stay cool....

morning garager... We got up early and are looking forward to a great day outdoors. Part of me wishes I could move up here to Alaska. Hmmm.. maybe RIDGID should build a factory up here.

Garager, I see you posted this at 6:20 a.m. Did you oversleep? You are right, it is a beautiful morning here in the Northland--too bad some our "Ridgid" friends can't share it with us. Have a good one.

Hahaha, I never over sleep. I was just super busy this morning with paper work and then sitting outside on my steps and enjoying a couple cups of good coffee and the morning smell....
