    Re: attaching photos

Rick has a really good technique for doing it. Since he figured it out he should probably tell you since he speaks good plumber talk. I would just tell you to go and hit the manage attachments button underneath the submit reply and preview posts buttons.

He attaches em and puts em in line. very impressive.

Too D--- bad those blankety blank Ma Bell and Power Co. linemen can't learn to string their wires the right way! They're keeping that tree from growing straight and tall. LOL

            Vince,

Now that's a snow bank. I've only ever seen two that come close (one in NH that you could walk onto a barn roof from); and another mound in Syracuse that was like 20 feet high and cut a road in half.

            Cute dog too.

Haven't heard "Ma Bell" in a while. I worked in The Bronx and we backed everything with head guys, down guys, and anchor guys (strand to support tensioned on a cable). Here in my CT town there might be one support for three tensioned cables, instead of one for each. I admit those lines and utility poles would not have stood a chance anyway given the size and weight of that tree. The folks around here are also big tree huggers, in my opinion trees have a life span and do get sick and die, they also need to be trimmed away from lines. Give them poor lonely linemen a pass.

But in the spring, doesn't snow in a bank become a liquid asset?

You've got to have 'em now. Not in Hawaii, but in VA I can't imagine you don't. The last time I was in the MD/VA area they had a collapsed roof of some museum on the front page of the newspapers from all the snow.

it's actually pretty easy. even for me

once you actually attach them, go ahead and post.

then go back to edit thread.

click on the small photo to open and then copy, and paste. do this a couple times and you'll have all your photos blown up to full size

joey wouldn't me, so i figured it out myself.

if you can edit and post within 2 minutes, you don't time out and it doesn't show up as an edit

                        rick.

I do not help when I get woken up at night to post a photo or tell you how to spell. I figure if I ignore you eventually you'll leave me alone and let me sleep.
