    Looks like a stillson pipe wrench. Stillson(forget first name) was the inventor of the pipe wrench.
    Buy cheap, buy twice.

      i noticed the words "LEGOS SPAIN" stamped on the handle. i don't know how i could have missed that the first time.

      it may have originally come from the mine here in the 50's.

        Yeah that is a Stillson style wrench which was invented by Daniel Stillson and patented in 1864. The first big improvement to the wrench was when Ridgid came up with the modern heavy duty pipe wrench in the early part of last Century. I'm sure some one at Ridgid will have the exact facts.
