Come on. I hear a clip of the guy today and I'm thinkin 'wow, finally, some one real representing real people'. I should have known better.

Is ANYTHING in this world NOT a scam anymore?

    I'm VERY disappointed.
I really hope this guy turns out NOT to be a hack but I think I know how the story is gonna go now.

So he doesn't have a license? Whoop dee doo.
I've know hack plumbers and thieving plumbers who were licensed.
I know good plumbers who are unlicensed.
          A license guarantees nothing.

I think some of us are having a little fun with this subject but the guy does seem to be a nice guy. It is unfortunate he put himself out into the National medial where they were able to look at him more closely. There are a lot of States where you can work under your bosses license without holding a card so I can see why he thought he was okay.

Like my state for an example, NY . We have shops that employ anywhere from 10 - 200 plumbers.....Guess what ......Only the owner is Licensed!

So yea, maybe its the same for him there, Maybe he was going to take the test when he got his loan and then just buy it....

Either way the media is just making a circus out of it like anything else....

so joe the plumber isnt even a plumber? i own my own plumbing business and im a licensed plumber if i was making over $250,000 a year i think i could afford to pay a little more for taxes.

i wanted to say a thank you to all the dedicated hard working plumbers out there! when i have a problem and i call the same plumber that i have used for years, i am always worried to death til he gets here and always feel so relieved when he fixes the problem. im a bugman and recognise the hard work he does and the thankfulness i have when he takes care of my problems. i salute all of you plumbers!

Probably only a small handful of plumbers (large shop business owners) in the entire world make that much or more. Certainly not some unlicensed guy who doesn't even own a business.
