i think i really surprised her in a good way
    Oh nice

You do hold a good secret, I would have busted, I suck at holding secrets to my women, I always wind up giving the gifts early ...

and thats so cool you had bought one already.

What gave you the idea in the first place?

I saw a video on cnn and that got me interested.

i saw one at costco months earlier and then i asked her brother to look into it's design.

after reading lots of users reviews and then seeing it on a best of gifts morning show, i bought it.

when joey got an email from costco about a pink one, i had to divert her as i already bought the blue one. i did take her to costco to see the one blue one that was on display. it was a 120 hd. and 3 cell battery.

on line was the 160, 6 cell

so far so good, but she wants the pink one over the blue one

so now that joey's brother is in town, we met for dinner and gift exchange tonight.

mostly gag gifts with a twist.

how about a set of tool, fork, knife and spoon

          medical books and fow chart

chia head, so you think you're smarter than a 5th. grader, redneck calendar, a wallet that's a bacon design

and to top it off, a gift certificate to mcdonalds, jack in the box and wendy's.
sorry dunbar, by the time we meet, they'll be empty

I got a couple of these Stanley tripod flashlights. They're not rated highly by some but that's just lobster talk. They work great. Especially under that cabinet that's been stained dark and you need to work up high on the faucet.

Well thats just not fair DRC
Every year I've got work boots, and every year I very much look forward to them. This year they were a no show.

BUT, I did get the book I've been wanting (the story of Edger Sewtell) and a big Christmas gathering at the house.

I will admit, I was kinda of bummed about the boots, until I drove by a home. The home of a GOOD man who passed just days before Christmas. He left behind children and a wonderful wife. How sad that home must be......And I was bummed about a pair of cheap work boots.
