    While this is not the quality of some other brands I doubt it costs as much either. It is a pretty nice package and runs nice. I wonder how well it holds up to hard use.

    @1600 bucks it had better not be a POC. Can buy American 6kwatt a lot cheaper than that.

      Pretty darn crafty folks in Brand name furniture too:
      • hand applied real-looking wood grain (flakes off after purchase)
      • hard foam expertly detailed to look like wood
      • thin veneers on particle board/mdf
      • crappy hardware
      • etc buyer beware

        I didn't price it and you're right that for $1,600 it better not be a POC or the fur would fly.

        I wonder what the real noise level of it is. They don't side by side compare it to other brands or models.

        Considering that I have had some limited experience with other Chinese generators and they (all/several) really were hopeless POC and one was downright dangerous, this one didn't seem as bad. Aa good long running test is the way to tell.

        They can lower the price and keep the stupid remote start/stop control. It's just one more thing to go bust.
